On our trip this past summer, we visited a magical place. Asheville Nc. Epic mountains and secret valleys, hidden creeks and a TON of awesome culture. We had the opportunity to stay with a friend who was living and working on a farm. We stayed in a barn and ate outside and climbed hills and played with kittens.. Ryan and I took our own adventure to sliding rock.. but upon realizing it was a massive time trap.. we settled on finding our own creek to play in.
happily remembering this trip. I always learn things about myself when i get to spend time on the road. It gradually becomes much easier for me to let anxieties go. I really begin to understand the pointlessness of holding onto things I dont need to. as i visit place to place, I am shaped by each visit, gathering up a bit of who I will be and leaving a tad of who I was.. hoping I can channel that same understanding this winter.
