I think this is important!

Did you hear? The House voted to bar Planned Parenthood from federal funding. They cut funding for HIV tests, cancer screenings, birth control, and more, putting millions of women and families at risk. We can't let it go unanswered. It's time for you and me to stand with Planned Parenthood. Sign the open letter to the reps who voted for this bill — and to the senators who still have a chance to stop it.
sign this letter to congress!

****im not claiming to be apart of any group against any other group, but as a broke student, about to be a functioning human in a big bad world.. planned parenthood has really been a blessing. Especially for some of us who dont have/cant afford health care. Take a minute to think about this, whether for woman's rights, health care, or personal beliefs. I would hate to loose this resource!

please pleas please no nasty comments. I've never had any (yet) and i try to post only AWESOME things on here, but i just really think this is important. just please. no crude opinions. We all have thoughts on this and these are mine. thanks for understanding!

  1. Planned parenthood, despite their "controversy," (you know, the A word...) has been a leader in women's health and advocating safe and healthy lifestyles, ie, free yearly exams, free bc, free condoms, free free free, which will no longer be free if this goes all the way to the top (which I doubt, but you never know in these crazy times)
good for you for sharing this, and keeping it in the front of our minds.
    xo,
