Pansies are some of my favorite low growing things. They are so so sensitive and soft but last through winters and snowstorms. They love the cold weather! with pretty little faces they fix their posture to the sun and just sing with color during the barest times of year. Throughout history, pansies have danced with many sweet meanings mostly in the realm of "thoughts". A bundle of these babies given to a lady in Victorian times meant Think of Me. They started out white & blushed bright purple where it was pierced by Cupid's arrow.. hence it's relationship with thinking of loved ones. I loved to use these flowers in my pressed letter work when I was in school because I could use them in so many ways!
